My entry reads: "Most racist lyrics ever" and I found exactly what you think i would have. Don't expect to get signed to a major label anytime soon. So I had to ask the question, why punk rock? Even if it's the mainstream "punk rock that we all know but rather openly racist bands singing about what they want to. Video games, literature, drinking and punk rock is tied directly to their everyday gang lives. What is striking to me is the idea that the white supremacist movement is dissected as a whole.

Obviously my idea of racism and what it means is completely off and i should look into re-educating myself on this. Seems like beating up a guy, or possibly beating him to death, just because he's black is labelled "racist" whilst a hispanic guys shoots and kills a black girl, just because she's black isn't. "A chance encounter between a racist white supremacist group.". "Hate Nation"'s opening line includes the words. Still racism is never mentioned but rather referred to as a "Turf War". Some hispanics were brutally assaulted and set a light purely because of the colour of their skin. Even though a 14 year old girl was brutally killed purely because she was black by Latin Kings members. Never once throughout the "Race Wars" episode was Racism ever played on. Starting in the early 60's in the United Kingdom, these white supremacist groups have indeed been around for a long time and have dealt a fair share of damage indeed. They link their violent gang lives with hate speech, hateful literature and Punk Rock. As you would suspect, this indeed is about white supremacist groups. According to Gangland, this has been going on for quite some time from as early as the late 1980's and has been one of the most brutal gang wars in recent times.Įpisode 8 of the same season entitled "Hate Nation". Hispanic on black violence and vice versa. "Race Wars" is massive amounts of violence, murder, decapitation, drive by's and violence against women and kids between the "Latin Kings", the "Bloods" and the "Crips". Most of you reading this would automatically think that it has to have something to do with white supremacists but, it doesn't. One thing that has literally kept me up though, is that Season 1 Episode 5 entitled "Race Wars" deals with inner city violence in the "not so glamourous" parts of Los Angeles. Find it really interesting to see what makes up most of the world's seedy underbelly.

I've been watching quite a lot of Gangland lately. "This program contains graphic material, including offensive language.
